Your Parent Association – Everyone Belongs

Every PCS family is a member of the Parent Volunteer Association (PVA). Together we help our school and its students thrive.

We are:

  • building an inclusive community
  • enriching student lives through sports and clubs
  • showing teacher appreciation
  • volunteering essential school services

As a member, you have the power and voice to shape the things you care about at school by voting and taking collective action.

Connect & Engage

Meet people and enrich your school experience. By engaging in parent volunteer opportunities at PCS, you improve student success and build connections with other families. There are a variety of ways to help at school and from home, during the school day and on weekends and breaks. Many parents and caregivers find that plugging in at PCS is among the most fulfilling aspects of their lives during junior high and high school.

Get ENGAGED

Why volunteer? You will make connections and a difference in the lives of students. PCS counts on our help to keep things running. Our school prioritizes teachers and programs for limited, precious funds, so parents fulfill essential safety and school services, as well as lend skills and plan events. We ask each family to volunteer 40 hours annually. Our approach is flexible and inclusive — we listen to what works for you and tailor your volunteer service.
