High School Teams

PCS’s extensive athletic program emphasizes sportsmanship, dedication, determination, and playing with a positive spirit. The Puma teams and individuals have earned MTAL, PCAL league, SCCAL league, CCS section and State titles.

 

Girls Volleyball

Aug - Oct

The girls’ volleyball team competes in the Pacific Coast Athletic League. The team practices 4 – 6 times per week including games. Games and practices are held at Natural Bridges Gym and the team enters 1- 2 tournaments each season.

Cross Country

Aug - Nov

The team competes in the Pacific Coast Athletic League. The team practices 4-6 times per week including meets. Practices are held on the trails of Wilder Ranch State Park and surrounding roads. Home meets are held at Wilder Ranch State Park. Individuals have earned league, CCS section and state titles.

The girls’ basketball team competes in the Pacific Coast Athletic League. The team practices 4 – 6 times per week including games. Games and practices are held at Natural Bridges Gym and the team enters 1- 2 tournaments each season. The team has competed in the CCS section tournament over the last few years.

The girls’ soccer team competes in the Pacific Coast Athletic League. The team practices 4 – 6 times per week including games. Practices are held at Natural Bridges Field and home games are held at Santa Cruz High School. The team is the defending league champion and competed in the CCS section tournament last year.

The track and field team competes in the Pacific Coast Athletic League. The team practices 4-6 times per week including meets. Practices are held at Santa Cruz High School. Individuals have earned league, CCS section and state titles in the track events.

The swim team competes in the Pacific Coast Athletic League. The team practices 4 – 6 times per week including meets. Practices and home meets are held at Santa Cruz High School. Individuals have qualified for the CCS section meet over the last few years.

Lacrosse

Jan - May

The lacrosse team is a coed team and competes in the Pacific Coast Athletic League. The team practices 3-4 times per week. Practices are held at Natural Bridges Field.

The team is the defending league champion, CCS section champion and runner up in the NorCal Regional Tournament.

Ultimate

September - May

Ultimate is a non-contact coed club sport played with a frisbee. Points are scored by passing the disc to a teammate in the opposing end zone. The coed team practices both in the Fall and Spring and enters many tournaments including the State Tournament. Games and practices are held at Gateway School Field and Natural Bridges State Park 2-3 per week.
