David Levy

David Levy by Annie Marshall, World Language Teacher

David was born and raised in Santa Cruz. As a student at Soquel High School, he enjoyed swimming and water polo. The thing David remembers about Santa Cruz back then is that it was not so crowded.

David choose to get a major in history and a minor in math first at UCSD and finally at UC Davis. During the summer, David was a junior guard instructor with Simon Fletcher.

David came to PCS after 3 years at Watsonville High School. He always speaks highly about his experience there. Attracted by the student body size and the focus on academics, David came to PCS in 2001.

During his free time, David loves to spend time with his family going to the beach, hiking and finding adventures.

His favorite book is Last Orders by Graham Swift.

When I asked David what was special about him. He said: "Nothing, I am a regular guy." Let me tell you, David is not a regular guy. He is a level-headed person you always can count on. David will take the time to answer your questions. If you have doubts about your teaching, David will listen to you and see both sides of the issue.
