At Pacific Collegiate School our mission is to prepare all of our students to enter and succeed in college. We encourage students to reflect on who they are and what dreams they have for the future. We then help guide students as they explore their options, apply to college, and prepare for life after PCS. This is accomplished through one-on-one counseling with the student, family meetings, class presentations, evening presentations, and visits from college admissions representatives from across the nation.
Ultimately we encourage students to take ownership of the college search and application process with support from the PCS College Counselor. This is an important developmental moment in a student’s life in which they must find their voice and assume responsibility for planning their future.
There is an open door policy at the College Counseling Office for all PCS students and families. However, the college counseling process begins in earnest during the 11th grade year through graduation.
