Chemistry Teacher

Under the direction of the Faculty Dean and the Head of School, the Chemistry Teacher is responsible for teaching 5 sections of Chemistry/AP Chemistry. The goal of the Science Department is to develop scientific mindsets along with the organizational and laboratory skills required for scientific inquiry. Science teachers at Pacific Collegiate School (PCS) are expected to follow Next Generation Science Standards and College Board guidelines as appropriate for their classes. Lab work is an integral part of Pacific Collegiate School science courses, and Chemistry teachers must ensure that their classrooms adhere to state and local safety standards.
