Development Associate

Development Associate
Under the direction of the Head of School, the Development Associate will be responsible for a limited scope of Development tasks and record-keeping. Activities for this temporary position include those necessary to support the PCS Annual Fund Drive, such as maintaining a confidential record of donations, updating the website, preparing organizational communications, sending letters to acknowledge donations, etc.
As a PCS staff person, the Development Associate’s children have school admission preference during the period of employment.

Medical and dental insurance will be covered by the school in alignment with the percentage of full-time employment (50% FTE = 50% medical/dental benefit; provided by PCS; 100% FTE = 100% medical/dental benefit provided by PCS).

Ability to collect, manage and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, including accurate maintenance of financial records.

Interact with all stakeholders and the public in ways that are thoughtful, reflective, diplomatic with a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Can clearly communicate point of view, yet fully support final decisions if different from one’s own.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Experience with development, fundraising, and/or preparing grant proposals.

Experience or interest in working in charter schools, education, or non-profits.
