PCS is home to 516 students and offers a wide range of interscholastic sports. Our High School Teams are part of the Mission Trail Athletic League/Coastal Division in most varsity sports, while our Junior High Teams compete against local middle schools, both public and private.
Our goal is to offer all PCS students the opportunity to participate in sports. We field competitive High School Teams that have won league titles in girls volleyball, boys and girls cross country, and boys and girls soccer. We have sent teams to the CIF/Central Coast Section play-offs in these sports as well as basketball. Several of our teams have won Scholastic Championships as well.
At PCS, we embrace a philosophy suggested by an old and perhaps forgotten definition of 'to compete': to seek together. Our athletes take pride in representing Pacific Collegiate School and along with good sportsmanship, they, the coaches and our team parents seek together the rich rewards of athletic competition.
Academic Eligibility Requirement
In order to participate in athletics at PCS a student-athlete must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA and be passing all classes with a C- or better. The student-athlete, parents and coach will be notified of the student’s ineligibility to participate if the student’s grades drop below this standard. A meeting with the student, dean of students, course teacher, and parents may be conducted to determine what actions the student needs to take to improve his/her academic standing.
